Anyway—more about Puyallup! Depending on where you live in Puyallup, you’re just about a 15- to 25-minute drive to JBLM. Puyallup is just east of Spanaway, Frederickson, and JBLM, making it a premium choice for those who have to commute to JBLM. (Tip: You may hear people refer to “South Hill” as a different place, but it’s still part of Puyallup—it’s just the southern part of Puyallup and on a hill, as the name suggests!)

Here are 4 reasons why many people who work at JBLM choose to live in Puyallup:

Especially in neighborhoods like Silver Creek (located at 176th and Meridian), you’ll find yourself enjoying the amenities of Puyallup and a peaceful suburban community while still being approximately 25 minutes away from work.

  1. Although Puyallup is a developed area, it’s still growing.

Puyallup just keeps growing, and homebuyers can enjoy the benefits of new construction here whether you’re looking for single-family homes or condos. It Is also known to hold its value to its continued growth and amenities.

Puyallup is home to tons of restaurants, schools, health services, parks, and so much more. With a population at almost 40,000, Puyallup has over 30 schools (including Pierce College, a community college).
